David McEllis is the Illinois Legislative Director at ELPC, working on current Illinois energy legislative issues. Prior to joining ELPC, David served as senior legislative counsel in the Office of the Illinois Senate President. He was the lead Senate Democratic staffer for the Senate Energy and Public Utilities Committee and the Senate Labor Committee. He lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
