Biography

Nick has served as executive director of the Iowa Conservative Energy Forum since June, 2021. Prior to leading this non-profit organization, he served as field director for Governor Kim Reynolds historic 2018 campaign. Nick followed the campaign by joining Governor Reynolds’ official office, serving as her director of boards and commissions.

Nick then led the Iowa Land and Liberty Coalition, a project of the Iowa Conservative Energy Forum, where he and his team worked alongside Iowa farmers, conservative renewable energy champions, and industry leaders to fight for rural Iowans property rights to develop renewable energy on their land.

Nick currently works and resides in the Des Moines area and is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
